March 2012 Oakville, Milton & Burlington Ontario Real Estate Sales Report

Here are the March 2012 residential real estate results for Oakville, Milton and Burlington Ontario. The Oakville, Milton & District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) posted 949 sales in March – down 4.3% from March 2011, while the Realtors Association of Hamilton Burlington (RAHB) reported 1354 sales – down 2.7 % from last year.  As expected, the number of sales was higher in March than in February this year. TREB Market Watch – February 2012

February 2012 real estate results showed strong growth in sales in the GTA area when compared to last year.  New listings also increased, but not to the same extent, thereby resulting in tighter market conditions and greater competition amongst buyers. Here are the February 2012 residential real estate results for Oakville, Milton and Burlington Ontario. Feb 2012, GTA REALTORS® Report Mid-Month Resale Housing Market Figures
